P&G and Hope Schools: A Long-Term Commitment to Education Success

Thanks to P&G Hope Schools, a program in partnership with the China Youth Development Foundation, children now have better access to education in poverty-stricken rural areas of China. P&G China continued its long-term commitment to the program this year, celebrating the 15th anniversary of the program.

To help drive this Live, Learn and Thrive initiative, P&G created innovative partnerships with retail customers. This has enabled these retailers—along with more than 100 million shoppers annually—to participate in the cause and make significant commitments to build Hope Schools with P&G.

P&G Hope Schools have benefited over 150,000 children across China in the last 15 years, and over 6,000 P&G China employees have actively supported its program activities.

180 schools built, more than 100,000 children educated, 5,000 employees directly involved, 100% of Chinese provinces benefit, 325 million shoppers and consumers directly involved.
